Riebenbauer Design is hosting an art project every year. In 2010, after moving into the former studios of the Wiener Werkstätte, Riebenbauer Design has invited French visual artist Laurent Ajina to occupy and take possession of this space in order to reconnect the location with its history. The Wiener Werkstätte FOUNDED IN 1903 by Joseph Hoffmann and Koloman Moser, was a production community of artists and craftsmen with a commitment to designing art that would be accessible to everyone. Its revolutionary approach brought together applied arts and fine arts. Its creations embodied modernism and avant-gardism making Wiener Werkstätte the birthplace of Design.
